I use gentle effleurage massage techniques in aromatherapy to warm the muscles, relax the body and calm the mind. I use essential oils to ease symptoms of unease, discomfort and imbalance of the mind, body and spirit.
It is very important to understand your individual physical and emotional needs, in order to choose the oils that will benefit you most at that time.

I specialise in delivering wonderful treatments, using the powerful effects of massage to enhance the properties of the essential oils, that will encourage you to relax and indulge the senses. From the top of the head to the tips of the toes, the treatments aim to soothe and calm the mind, and ease strains, tension and blockages in the body and skin, bringing vitality to every part of the body.

Essential oils, which are the pure essence of a plant, are used for their exquisite aromas and natural healing powers, and depending on the individual, can provide both psychological and physical benefits when used properly.
Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment, balancing the whole person, soothing and relaxing stressful lifestyles and optimising health and well-being.
Being wonderfully rich in antioxidants, if used regularly they work at a cellular level encouraging radiant and healthy skin. Their therapeutic properties stimulate the nervous system to release congestion and re-balance areas of the body affected by physical or mental stress. At the same time, the essential oils are absorbed into the bloodstream enhancing cell renewal, circulation and detoxification, while their aromas act on the deepest parts of the brain to enhance our mood and emotions.

Before we start your treatment, we'll have a short consultation in order to choose the essential oils that will be of most benefit to you. Then relax on the lovely heated couch and I start with cleansing your face and toning before applying a face mask of french green clay, aloe vera with seaweed extract and your chosen essential oils. This is left on for 10 minutes ..... but so you don't get bored while you wait...... I treat you to a relaxing full arm and hand massage with beautifully scented essential oils selected to blend with your facial choice. Wow! Then its time to remove the face mask with warm water and floral water, before the best bit a lovely scalp and facial massage using silky, camelia oil and your chosen essential oil. DIvine!

As I am qualified to mix and blend more than 50 different essential oils, if you aren't able to have a massage, following a consultation together, I can make personal blends for inhalation,shampoo and conditioner, bath soaks, or in moisturisers or carrier oils.
